It’s okay to worry a little. But worrying too much can hurt your test score. Your brain is like a computer. It holds a lot of information. Worrying too much is like not having the password for your computer. The information is there, but you can’t get to it. These tips will help you do your best on any test.  Start studying early. Studying at the last minute can make you worry more.  Close your eyes and imagine that it’s time for the test. See yourself sitting calmly in your chair, answering the questions correctly, and getting the grade you want. Go over this in your mind several times before the test.  The night before a test, review the material. Then get a good night’s sleep.  When you get your test, sit up straight and take a deep breath. As you exhale, feel your body relax. The more you practice these tips, the better you’ll get. If you worry a lot about taking tests, talk to your teacher or to your parent.
