The Internet is a great place to gather information, but you must be careful. Some of the information on the Internet is wrong. Only use the Internet if you know that you have permission from your teacher and a parent. Then make sure that the information you use is correct. If you have a question, ask your teacher or librarian. At home, you may use the Internet to play games and watch videos. You may also use it to keep in touch with your friends. You must be careful, however, when you use the Internet. Here are some Internet safety tips. Don’t give your name, address, telephone number, or school name to anyone. Remember that people online may not be who they say they are. Don’t give your password to anyone. If you come across anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, tell your parents. Never put anything on the Internet that you wouldn’t want your parents or teachers to see!
