THEATER Actor/actress Announcer Art director Cinematographer Comedian Director Playwright/screenwriter A note about careers in the arts Because it is often difficult to make a living in the arts, many people turn their artistic interest into a second, or part-time, career. For example, many musicians have a“regular job”during the week and play in a band on the weekends. Other people develop their artistic talents into lifelong hobbies. People with all kinds of careers paint, take pictures, dance, or play an instrument in their free time. That being said, if you feel that you have the talent, and you definitely want to pursue a career in the arts, then get the education or training you need, work hard, and go after your dream.
