Notetaking Tips u Don’t write in complete sentences, and don’t worry about punctuation, grammar, or spelling. u Use symbols and abbreviations to help you take notes faster. Studies have shown that about 50% of what a person hears is forgotten in 20 minutes. Listening in class isn’t enough.
