If you do all of the following, you and your teachers will get along great—and you’ll probably get better grades.  Be in school every day When you miss class, you miss discussions, notes, presentations, assignments, quizzes, and tests. You can never make up all of what you miss. Attendance is the #1 school success factor.  Come to class prepared Bring everything you need to class (paper, pens, pencils, book, etc.) and have all of your homework done.  Participate in class Asking and answering questions makes the class more interesting. It also helps keep your mind focused. Many teachers give participation points, so participating in class can also help you get a higher grade. “If I tune out, the class seems to go on forever. If I participate, the time goes a lot faster.” John
