It begins in early adolescence and increases through the adult years.  Common street names for marijuana include pot, grass, weed, ganja, Mary Jane, and dope.  According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse, the teen use of cocaine, inhalants, and ecstasy has decreased. There has, however, been an increase in the use of prescription drugs, marijuana, and over the counter drugs. .  Rohypnol, also known as the "date rape”drug, is tasteless, odorless, and it dissolves easily in beverages.  Research suggests that experience with alcohol triples from 4th to 6th grade.
