Kindergarteners spend a good deal of time in school developing the skills they need to read. As your child works on these skills in school, there are a number of things you can do at home to further develop your Kindergartener’s reading skills. Any learning activity you do with your child at home should be playful and fun. The reading activities presented here take very little time and are easy for any parent to do—and they should be fun for both you and your child. One of the greatest gifts you can give your kindergartener is a love of reading.
